Make good decisions

More than 50% of the time
Athletes, artists, and entrepreneurs have a lot in common, especially the most successful ones.
They’re all talented and hardworking, disciplined and dedicated, and focused on achieving success against strong competition. They may not all achieve world class status, win championships, or become billionaires, but they all understand what it takes to succeed consistently.    Â
As Roger Federer said during his commencement address at Dartmouth

College in New Hampshire in 2024, "Perfect is impossible." You have to accept that you are not going to win every match or every point. In his career, he won 80% of more than 1500 singles  matches, but he only had to win 54% of the points played to be an exceptionally successful championship tennis player.
Understanding that principle is equally important to the decisions made in the careers and businesses of every athlete, artist, and entrepreneur. It is impossible to be right every time. Just be right more than 50% of the time.
And as Bill Gates has said, be sure that the mistakes you make are small enough or are corrected fast enough, that they don’t do permanent damage to your career or your business.
Be better. Do better. Be an Enlightened Entrepreneur.
