Perspective is important.

As is distance.
I recently read an article on the inspiration of daily observations and the little things that people say or do that leave a lasting impression.
For example, this article was inspired by the story of a note passed out to passengers on a guided tour flying over a scenic landscape with people who were not experienced travelers so the accommodating pilot passed out a list of

the most frequently asked questions he had received on the flight.
What was #1? “Why does everything look smaller?”
A reminder that distance from the familiar is a good way to gain perspective and arrive at new conclusions. Alternatively, change positions from speaker to listener.
What would be first on the list of questions asked of passengers by the pilot?
Step back thirty feet, or fly over at 3000 feet, and see if your problems become smaller.
Be better. Do better.
