Focus, Focus, Focus
On process, process, process
With Labour Day weekend behind us and the kids off to school again, it’s a sign

that the summer holidays are over. It’s time to get back to work. Hopefully with renewed energy, motivation and inspiration.
As Anthony Robbins has said, after you Awaken the Giant Within, “It’s time for dedicated massive action to achieve your ambitious goals and objectives.”
But wait, not so fast.
Before we leap into action and gallop off in all directions at once to see what works, let’s do a little thoughtful analysis to review and revise (or confirm) our purpose and our plan. Where are we going? Why? To do what? And how do we get there?
Once we’re clear on the purpose and the plan for our enterprise or entrepreneurial adventure, the important next step is to focus on the process. Everything will go better if we focus on the process before giving the action plan the green light and hitting the start button.
Focus on the process every step along the way for efficiency and effectiveness in achieving the agreed goals and objectives. Ignore the distractions and the urge to multitask and insert other priorities into the routine. Continuously adjust and improve the process by monitoring feedback all the way to the finish line.
Developing and following the right process for each action item will deliver results to the satisfaction of everyone on the team. Focus on the process.
Be better. Do better.
