Richard Branson seems to agree with my approach to keep Mom in mind. When you are at the stage of testing your business ideas for viability, he suggests "try it on Mum". *http://lnkd.in/dCPS9GS

Regardless of how new you are to the process of starting a business, it can be a daunting prospect. The Virgin CEO shares how to do it, step by step.
I wonder if he still does that himself?
Don't forget my recommended preamble before you get anyone's input, "Please don't take it personally if I choose to ignore your advice." Because a crucial test for every entrepreneur is, "not easily discouraged". Call it stubborn maybe, but I prefer to think of it as determined, confident and dedicated to getting the results.
All good concepts to keep in mind at the start up phase.
* Did you notice that the British say MUM, and Canadians (Americans?) say MOM?
